New monitor recommendations

Hey people! my monitor seems to be on it's way out :S so in need of a new one. I am not sure what to get, but i know it needs to be:

£300
27" or more
VESA

Mainly used for gaming and movies.

Do you want 1080p or move up to different resolution like 2560x1440?
Or even 2560x1080?

Your RX480 ain't going to cut the 4K monitor, but again if you keep AA off, and lower bit the ress will be ok. Leaving 4K for content only.

Imho also look at some reviews on this one

Will look into the LG one. I think it would be best to stay around the 1080p mark. I think i would rather have a higher Hz than higher res
