When you get to a point where it'd happily replace the current how-to have a word with Berserker and I'm sure he'll be only too happy unstickify that and stickify your new one

Me too, my P4 is down to 107 PPD from nearly 250

Never mind, am getting a few decent WUs on the AMDs - couple of double Gromacs and a 364 pointer

I made it onto the first page of the EOC stats! YAY.

I also slacked a lot this week, mainly due to my 24/7 cruncher being offline (well there were no electricity sockets or CAT5 into my room for most of the week )

It's back up now so yay.

With the sig rig up and running this week, I will be well up the 2nd page of ranks on extremeoverclocking! Watch out slackers .

having said that i might state the benefits to the world and ask if i can use all pc's onsite(totals approx 1100 systems and a plethora of servers
reckon i could own the entire leader board within a couple of weeks if work says yes

yup - he posted details in last week's news thread
unfortunately the problem with getting permission to run F@H (or any DC project for that matter) is that as soon as anything happens on a machine running it the guy with the power always decides that must be the problem and rather than investigating just decides that the software must go

In Sammael's case he's having to re-install the machines so any crashes are going to be cured whether it was anything to do with F@H or not (in all my years in this project i've never had a machine become unstable as a result of actually being used). I would just love to see his boss' face when they screw up after another 6 months of use without F@H anyway


sormicoft - any extra machines you can bring to the cause will be great, if you can get some mass borging going then even better - just make sure everything is cleared by people with the authority to do so as nobody is asking you to risk your job for it

let us know how you get on - and be sure to parp in advance before you go stomping the whole team in the first week

Anyone else getting a lot of P2306 GBGromacs (188 points) just now?
Four of my six CPUs are on them at the moment.

The AMDs (approx 180 PPD) are doing better than the Intels (approx 100 PPD).

Where have all the 364 & 600 pointers gone

Yep 50% crunched that excat WU.

Got a Gromacs 1481 worth 364 as well though

AcicHell2, Couple more weeks and ill make some ground back on you.

P2306....Got one of these right now, after finishing a 683 pointer

I've turned off 3 of my machines. There's no point burning the electricity for this sort of output. 2 days to do a 36 pointer? I don't think so.

Got two GB 188 pointers, Amber 153 pointer and a 364 point Gromac..

No 600's yet....

Thoose 188 pointers take ages, 6days on a 3.4GHZ P4.

Something wrong there mate. My 2.4GHz P4 takes less than 2 days and I thought that was poor. My A64 3500 Venice takes about a day.
