So what kind of machine do you think thats running on then?

Some tips for you:-
1. Its a new OcUK Ultima PC (Not on the website yet though)
2. Its air-cooled
3. No driver or software tweaks just usual optimal OS and driver settings along with a mild overclock.

Let the guessing commence. :D

Your very close sir!

Motherboard - CORRECT!
Graphics - Nearly correct, BFG 7900 GTX x 2 running at 700MHz core!
CPU - CORRECT, running at 3060MHz
Memory - Close but its Corsair XMS2-8500
PSU - Correct!

Good guess! :)

Some more benchmarks:-

Its one extremely fast system!! Next installment will be the same system with the two 7950 GX2 cards in place.

However in the new nForce 590 chipset boards the 7900 GTX gets a huge performance boost with LINKBOOST technology which is only on the nForce 590 chipset and ONLY supported by 7900 GTX cards. :)

Gibbo, have you not tried pushing that CPU any further? 3ghz is going to be a dabble with it, it's barely any increase. See if you can get it higher :p

Jeez, I didn't really believe the Inquirer article predicting this:

Inquirer said:
"Just don't be too surprised when all of the sudden, nForce 590 owners with a Trinity-specc'ed board (we suspect all future mainstream and high-end models will support the spec) will get a subtle boost over owners of non-590 based motherboards"
http://www.theinquirer.net/?article=31308

It isn't clear if ATi will be able to produce 'Trinity-enabled' gfx cards, or if it's just nVidia cards that will benefit from the 590 chipset. Anyone know more about this?
