May I ask how much it set you back?

I'd understand if you dont want to.

Too much!! I got £2000 off list price... the dealer matched drivethedeal.co.uk

I would send you a PM.. but I cant :( Think it must be my lack of post count!

I considered:

Golf GTI - Too expensive to insure.. as a result of my mum loosing MY no claims!
Octavia vRS TDI/TFSI - To expensive to insure and seemed too big
Golf GT TDI - could only insure PD140 and wasnt worth the extra over the cost of insuring Audi -

The gti and A3 are totally different beasts, if your anywhere near Newcastle I can give u the name of my sales man at audi and you should get a good deal

How come you did not go for the 170 version? Quieter and faster! For about £500 more.

Could I ask what them wheels are? They don't look like the 5 spoke wheels Audi give!

This is not me ranting at you btw :p They are nice and very reliable with plenty of great features that are useful, specially in different weather conditions. See how high you can get your MPG on the motor way and if you can beat 650 ^^
