Hi there

Nope the price is not real!

Its actually £1899+VAT and the systems I have access too show it as this price. There is nothing I can do at present but anyone placing orders for one won't get one and the problem will be resolved soon or later once our system guys find out why this is happening.

if you cant fix it, how about taking the page offline, as it still shows the discount price and in stock and available to buy, so its misleading..

Anyone who thinks they are going to get a top specification system for under £500 from a very popular and well known store needs a good slapping in my opinion. :p

Do people have a brain these days? :D

You will get a phone call/email asking whether you'd like pay £2000 or cancel.

Was going to attempt it but most companies have policies in place to stop things like this.

There was a famous case on dell servers about 2 years ago (the cheap £299 small business servers) and also a LCD TFT at argos, both made the press and a large number of customers actualy got the items for the price, as the companies knew about i, but didnt get around to changing it within a reasonable time period :D

Every effort is made to ensure that prices shown on the Supplier's website are accurate at the time you place your order. If an error is found, the Supplier will inform you as soon as possible and offer you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling your order.

cant remember the exact wording but supplies have a certain time frame in which new products are added to change prices , descriptions etc before having to honouring the price :)

plus anyone who buys a pc will know something isnt right with a price like that :p
