There was a table composed quite awhile ago on a site I can't mention because they have adverts.....but my forum snatched it and we've been updating it frequently. The list is not perfect but we've been doing the best we could, and keep in mind these are all supposed to be compared stock vs stock at average resolutions.

In no way Did I create this list. I found it on my favorite Overclocking site **********

This was the final product of 38 pages of input from the entire community. The cards Go from of coarse Best to worst as it goes down the list. Keep in mind that is NOT my list or my exact beliefs but rather on average which card is better. Please don't complain to me if you think your X1950GT beats my 7900GS or whatever. I myself don't even fully agree with this list as my 7900GS overclocked beats an X1950PRO overclocked but hey these are on average.

You mean Nvidias cards are still called GeForce, ATI are HD I guess it gets the point across the ATI cards are good at HD content and Nvidia are good at flight sims... or something.

On the road....

To me Geforce will always mean "Battle of the Planets" :o:D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FoO5H_UKCrw

Although Battle of the Planets came to Britain in 1978, it started out life in 1972 as a Japanese anime known as Gatchaman.

Bowdlerised by American distributors, Battle of the Planets mixed snippets of the original with new footage to tell the story of five transmuting orphans and their guardian robot, 7-Zark-7.

G-Force was made up of heroic Mark, grumpy Jason, pointless Tiny, challenged Keyop, and, of course, Princess (sigh).

Each week they would battle against some new and improbable robot menace unleashed by the evil Zoltar from Spectra in the "Crab Nebulae" (sic).

G-Force's could transform their spaceship into a fiery burning phoenix in moments of extreme peril, but only as a last resort (this happened roughly every week).
- Sounds like my old 6800GT when its fan failed.... :D
