Just got my new Asus VW 246 24" LCD.

I'm very impressed with the image quality, both colours and blacks are very good for TN panel,the 16:9 screen looks really nice.Package contains audio,VGA,DVI cables ,paper manual and both 2 and 3 pin power leads.
No HDMI cable supplied (its does have HDMI input too).

I did not relize how much TN panels have improved over the years,its fair to say viewing angles is their main weakness but I have no complaints with mine.
This is just a quick thumbs up to say if anybody is looking for good 24" widescreen TN based LCD they should put this on their shopping list for sure.

Added a pic in my first post ,its not great(done without flash) but I''ll try to post more later.

Btw colour setting is on standard mode with Spyder 2 calibration.

Nope did not have that Asus model in stock,my old LCD was from OCuK however(Belina 102035W).

My new Asus has no dead pixels,very minimal backlight bleed(even then only seen on pure black background).

I did not even bother with scenery mode which makes the colours even more vibrant.

Thx,yep it has the 4 VESA type screw mount holes at back .

i have a Belina 102035W is it much better ?

Blacks just as good or very close,colours can't complain about(you have good menu options plus saturation control too) ,only weakness is viewing angles compared to MVA,IPS etc...its great for gaming with 2ms response time so way faster in that area,bigger desktop area too so yes I do prefer my Asus over my old Belinea.Blacklight bleed was less on my Asus compared to my old Belinea.

Default brightness is way too bright so take time to set it up right and it rewards you with a very good image.
