OCZ Vertex 2 vs. OCZ Vertex 2E

Question is in the title i just wanted to know the difference between OCZ Vertex 2 and the OCZ Vertex 2E.

I assume they both have the Sandforce-1200 controller? Their specs looks pretty similar!

it would be interesting to know as i am upgrading from the first generation OCZ Vertex.

The difference is that the 2E has more storage space since they reduced the spare area for the drive.

so what does this mean? is vertex 2 better than 2e?
