HD555's problem.

Hey.

Since buying the Sennheiser HD555's they have been great until just recently.

3 cracks have begun to develop on either side of the head band part. Like this in fact: (pic from the net)



I have resorted to using zip ties around it to prevent them developing so quickly.

Another problem is that the left speaker has started to buzz a little in some songs when at very high volume. This did not used to happen.

Now, i heard that Sennheiser was good for their spare parts being easily available? Can anyone tel me where the best place to get these replacement is?

I expected more from headphones in this price range.

I suspect the cracking is a common fault because mine are beginning to develop identical cracks

Best bet is to probably give Sennheiser a ring directly & see if they can do anything

seinheisser are best place for repairs go on the website they have a phone number, I had the capsules repaired when I poked with chopstick sent them off and got back within a week.
