When I was a kid on holiday before some turtles bit me as I was feeding them quavers...little buggers had red cheeks which made them look so harmless...

Can't compare to the power of a swans bite though so all was forgiven. I'd love to own a tortoise but heared they have a high chance of giving you salmonella or some crap like that. And that they smell..don't think uni dorms would like that ;D

Only last week i was in The Maldives swimming with turtles, got a good couple of vids too.

Very elegant animals, was an experience to swim with them.
