Hate the new iTunes logo?

So iTunes 10 is out, some nice new updates and all that.

But what's this?! Awful new blue colour logo?

Yuck!

So I decided to change it.

Open up Acorn (using the free version).

Go to 'filter' > 'color effect' > 'color monchrome'.
Select a grey colour in the colour select box.

Click 'apply'.

Much nicer.

Save as a .png.

Download FastIcns. Save as a .icns file
Move it inside the 'contents' > 'resources' folder of iTunes.

Be happy.

Hmmm, It's growing on me.....slowly.

I just don't think it fits in with the styling that Apple uses on it's other logos.

I don;t use a mac but to me it looks like it was made quickly and very unprofessionaly. But what do I know!?

The fade from light to dark blue is distracting, especially on such a small dock icon

I'm no design pro either, but it does seem like quite different a change for my liking. :eek:

Looks better than the old one anyway. Whoever made the new one just got a bit carried away with the glossy plastic look.

As bad logos go, even the old iTunes logo isn't as bloody stupid as the Finder logo!

I think it's terrible. Looks like something from the very early days of OSX.

Don't care tbh, don't even use itunes. Nice interface though, would perhaps use it at a push, but does it support FLAC yet?

Not by default, but there's been a way to play them in iTunes for years.
