Serious answers only please guys

Has anyone removed a battery from a skoda fabia? Ive traweled the net and cant find the answer other than remove the bolt under the battery... ive looked and cannot locate a bolt under the battery.

Ive diconnected the wires on live and neutral but the battery will not budge! anyone know how to get it out! need to replace it with a new one.

Thanks

When I removed a Fabia battery I had to remove a plastic cover that surrounded the battery to see the bolt that holds the plate in place. I can't remember how I got the plastic off but I am sure it just involved pulling it up the way.

You press then inwards and lift, then there is a bar going over the top IIRC.

Hi guys i have not had chance to get the battery out as i did not finish work till late!
can someone be kind enough to detail how to remove the plastic battery cover? I have removed the top cover its just the square cover which surrounds the battery sides. I think once i have that off ill be able to loacte what ever is holding the battery in place.

Thanks in advance
