Total recall of Sandforce 2xxx-drives

SweClockers just put up this article stating that their sources are saying that a sales stop and total recall might be on its way for Sandforce 2-drives due to the high number of people having issues with them.

Google translate if you wish to read it. :P

EDIT: Googletranslated version.

Not sure at the moment, but I know that the Corsair Force 3 models (particularly the 120GB version as that's the most popular one) are already being taken off the shelves in Sweden, I'm sure OCZ's counterparts are to follow.

EDIT: Also, sorry I misspelled Sandforce, if a mod feels like changing the thread title that'd be welcome.

thats why im going curcial m4 128gb... more reliable, faster on 4k random, and cheaper :)
Yeah, I've been looking at that model quite a bit recently too. Might possibly get one by the end of the month, depends on whether my holiday plans go down the crapper or not. :D

doesn't seem to be able working SSDs out there, my c300 freezes in games with 007 and was going to replace with agil 60gb but this too..

Went with the 128GB M4 few weeks back...can't fault it at all and has been running trouble free from the start. But did get some buyers remorse with the advertised speeds of the new corsair, OCZ units but I just couldn't commit with all the issues being raised in various forums.

Glad I went with my gut instinct of going for reliability over speed.

Did your problems start with 007 on the C300?. I get the same thing with my C300, but it only happened once I flashed 007 on to the drive.
