D-Tek fusion adaptors?

So im still waiting for a D-Tek adaptor to come onto the market in the UK,....

anyone know where you can get one from?(looked here and no adaptors:()

Current D-Tek fusion black is connected to my E8400 775 socket but i need a adaptor so that it will fit the new 1156/1155 motherboards.:rolleyes:

Been told by D-Tek they are making them but they cannot disclose where they selling them too:mad:

untill i can find one im kind of stuck....

No you're not. Dead easy to mod the stock bracket to fit; I did it last week:-

Excuse the mug :)

Just drill out the 775 mounting holes with a dremel. They're literally 2-3mm further out.

little worried about doing that to a £150+ motherboard though, im pretty sure it will void the warrenty too .....

so thanks for the idea but atm id like to try find a adaptor if anyone knows where to find one?

Mate it's a 50p piece of aluminium. If you **** it up (and you'd have to be really stupid to do so) you just buy a little sheet and get it cut out.

Obviously I didn't mean the motherboard!

:rolleyes: silly me

So bassically to make my D-Tek CPU block work on a 1156/1155 motherboard(the new ones) i need to re-drill some holes further out from the orginaly 775 holes i currently have in the metal.

correct?
