Source?

If true I'm sold, that's a pretty hefty improvement, even keeping pace with the last gens dual chip cards.

This 7970 is looking like the card to get early doors.

At least if this one picture is anything to go by.

I better start saving, got a feeling this ones gonna cost around 300 and thats around 150 over what i can afford.

If Nvidia don't have a reply until the summer as reported, expect it to be 5870 pricing all over again, 350/80+.

I would take the results with a bag of salt though, probably someones guesstimation!

It appears to be that time of year ago where some arse decides it's a good idea to make up a graph so that the GPU boizzz get stirred up over some hot air

(I'm not saying you're the arse op. Just that the graph looks fake from somewhere)

Just found these:

in an excel spread sheet I just made up. Looks promising. I also have it on my own authority that it will be 150 for the 7970.

Looks a bit sub par to be honest, I expected at least a 300% improvement over a 6990 for 150.
Count me out.

Yes it keeps getting bigger so the one after that will be Batman Arkham State and then Batman Arkham Country then Batman Arkham Continent etc etc. Was a joke like Crysis 3 (non existent), MoH2 (we all know it is coming), and Metro 2034 (actually the game will be called Metro: Last Light).

Graphics just weren't pushing the 7970 and I was getting infinite FPS so didn't bother to put it on.

Meh, the 4870's improvement over the 3870 was more impressive than that.
