Hi guys i built a computer yesterday with the Z77X-UD5H Gigabyte motherboard but when i start it up the Boot logo is wayy to big. Also when I enter my bios i cant see much because it is too big. I am using a HDTV 22" and i cant get my hands on a monitor for now. It is plugged into a GTX 670 graphics card. HELP?

You could try the onboard GPU and see if that changes or does your TV have any overscan options.

Hi, its just when i plug it into my GPU, when i use onboard graphics its fine but then i cant use GPU. Its plugged in through HDMI cable. The only option i have to changing the image is the aspect ratio and that doesnt help at all.

Drivers are all installed correctly yeah? and which connection are you using when go into the bios? VGA,HDMI etc? as above, you might want to try VGA not HDMI

all the drivers are installed correctly, and i am using HDMI when i go to the Bios. Im using the gigabyte Z77X-UD5H mobo, anything i need? Also I have Nvidea GTX 670 GPU and I installed the latest drivers for that. When i use onboard graphics its fine but onboard HPU only work when my GTX 670 is taken out. I need to enter the bios to Overclock my CPU.

Unlikely to be GPU related tbh.

The BIOS splash screens are produced from the on-board ROM and not from the GPU i.e. even without a GPU fitted you should still be able to access the BIOS.

Try experimenting with the various input/connectivity options to the TV. Also keep playing with the various TV settings.

I don't think not having GPU will affect your overclocking that much, so either do your OC on onboard gpu and then see what happens when you put 670 in or wait with overclocking till you get a monitor (or pick up 17" for £10 from ebay)

What make and model is your TV?

it wont affect my GPU in any way but im just saying i can see the screen perfectly sorry for confusion and i have a monitor but i am waiting for a dvi cable. My tv is a Bush

are the resolutions the same for onboard & graphics card ?

when the system starts up does the screen register the same resolution for both as well ?

in bios what order do you have for graphics card selection, cant remember but the options are usually sometime like pci/pgi or similar.

I dot know whether the resolutions are the same. How do i check? When it starts up i don't think it does. I think the order is PCI. But here is one thing i can say when i start up my pc on the bottom left of my TV it says DVI 2 then when windows loads to the account log in page it changes to HDMI 2.

right click when you get to desktop and go into nvidia control panel it should give the screen details/resolution.

have you got connections in dvi and hdmi ?
