Hi, I've googled this for the last 4-5 days with no real definitve answer.

What's the general opinion on max vram voltage with the 3770ks memory controller? some say 1.5v and others upto 1.75v with with OC's. Most of the 2133 ddr Z77 compatible sticks are 1.5-1.6v

Cheers in advance

Thanks gents, I've got my GSkill 2133 running prime stable at 2133mhz T1 with 1.525V (XMP profile for this speed is 2133 T2 @ 1.6v), it needs 1.6v to make 2200mhz T1 so I guess its not worth pushing the voltage up that much just for the extra 67mhz.

ask 8pack he is a mem genius and will vouch for 1.6v + 24/7, tbh its not just the mem voltage that will stabilize your mem oc its also the vtt/vccio which can be upped to 1.25v for 24/7

VTT should not go over 1.25 for these 24/7.

24/7 on Ivybridge 1.75 is absolutely fine providing VCCIO is not out of control high. XMP for high speed dimms is often set VCCIO at 1.25v and this has been endorsed by Intel.

If I am honest on my benching RIG which gets some hammer I dont run less than 1.85 Vdimm on Hynix , 1.9 on PSC and 2.0v + on BBSE and my cpu are fine. Always running same timings speeds etc stable... VCCIO I run upto 1.35v

Degradation has been noticed by some but they are running high VCCIO over 1.35 and high VDIMM and I think this is where the problem lies and infact it may only be the high VCCIO causing the problem.
