Hi Guys

We have a very cool upcoming platform from AMD in the office that Gibbo has been testing today, it overclocks like a demon and best of all, plays the latest games at decent resolutions from its onboard graphics!!!

We cant disclose too much info about it at the moment but im sure the majority of you will be able to use your Google-Fu to work out what it is

This is running a 1680x1050 resolution on Borderlands 2 at max settings.

I wish i was korean :(, GANGNAM STYLE!!! Theres a part in sheffield on tuesday themed on that as well lol.

But anyway back to the cpu.. which platform is this for? FM1? AM3+?

It's FM2 and probably a 5800k, check my link for the motherboard specs. They've not released the CPU support info either, I was hoping there would be a sneaky peek at the other processors that will be released.

From the reviews, it would seem that the 7660D on the A10-5800K is still only around the speed of GT440 (which is already not exactly known as a great performing card)...

This RAM would probably do quite nicely with a Trinity A10 based system:

It seems even 2400MHZ DDR3 improves IGP performance with the HD7660D!!

Trinity is going to be a load of fun to tweak I suspect.

Hoping we see some decent reviews that show results with faster/overclocked memory, as well as generic results.
You can argue that you wouldn't be buying fast memory for a "budget" system using an AMD APU, but given how cheap memory can be at the moment, it's a poor arguement.
