Hi, I purchased a VTX3D 7870 Tahiti LE, however I get signal from it when I power on my PC.
When I have both PCIE slots plugged in, the computer turns on for a few seconds but doesn't beep and then turns on and off but still nothing. With only one PCIE everything else works like normal however still no signal. I've checked the fan and it is spinning and I have the drivers installed. Also the GPU is not listed in the device manager.
I've heard that updating the BIOS can fix this problem, but when I looked for a new version of my mobo's BIOS I couldn't find the correct one, I checked on the Foxconn website and on the AMI site however none of them seem to be the correct one. I even found my mobo on Foxconn but the only BIOS that gave a message other than telling me that it's incompatible with my mobo was one that said it was only for 32 bit systems.
Here are my motherboard specs if they help:
Mobo: (Foxconn?)/Intel H67M-S
PSU: Corsair CX600 600w
I'm thinking that maybe the GPU isn't compatible with my mobo or maybe it's just faulty, any help would be appreciated.
