Does anyone remember an old RTS called Counterblow?

I had a demo of it on an old PC gamer magazine disk and it was amazing. Must have been late 90s. I remember you mined oil from oil wells for resources which was much cooler than C&C harvesting tiberium. Also all the units gained experience and became better - it went like, level C then B then A then the top one was S which made the unit hilariously OP. Even static defenses leveled up with enough experience, so if you failed an attack then the next one would be even harder.

It was around the same era as the earlier C&C games and had a similar visual style (2D isometric) but was definitely later than the first couple of C&Cs. Does anyone remember it or just me? wish I could get my hands on a copy.

Never heard of it, but there's a game on amazon and the bay called counterblow for pc? but it's a fighting game. I can't fight another game called that anywhere mate.

Yeah I found that too. There's a mention here about the game being released in Korea... maybe it was never released over here? Only in demo form? That'd suck

Sounds a little like the Sudden strike games.
