Ive currently got a 7850 Radeon Graphics card 2gb Windforce OC which i got from overclockers a ferw months back but im looking to sell to a mate for £100 because im wanting to dual boot for a hackintosh (the 7850 works but requires a sleep mode trick) as well as looking for a card with dual DVI ports i was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Geforce card that would match my 7850 in performance pref for the £200 or under mark

I was looking at a 670 but a friend of mine reckons thats not even as fast as my 7850 is that true ?

Just to answer your question,

Yes the 670 is a lot faster than a 7850. Not overclocked its faster than a 760 and a 7950.

The 760 seems to be the best to go for from nvidia at present.

Is there any advantage to the 760 at all then ? Is it quieter. Better for oc....also will it still work on my 500w psu ? Im tempted to cancel my 760 and order the 670

670s might me a tad faster at stock but overclocking on them is crippled due to the locked down voltage. The 760 is the Nvidia card to buy at the moment altho ght 7950s with all those free games is imo a better deal.

If Nvidia and its partners dropped the price of the 760 to 180-190 it would effectively make every AMD cardfrom the 7850 to the 7970 unsellable at there current prices. I doubt we will see that any time soon though.
