Heatkillers - nice choice on the blocks

I bought the graphics cards with blocks, backplates and link from the members mart, bargain at £270 for 690 performance. They really are good looking blocks, build quality is excellent and they are much slimmer than the EK blocks I have used in the past.

Hey have you used the foam that came with your res?
How far can you screw the res top and bottoms in?
I find u get so far then real resistance comes.
Nice build :)

I got the res from the members mart, didn't see any foam, willcheck the box though later. The caps screw in fully until they stop, they might leave some remaining thread exposedon the tube . I can take some detailed photos if you like.

The build is focused on silence, high pressure fans are noisy and pointless for my needs. Corsair don't make a sp140, you don't need high pressure fans on a low fpi rad like the PA140.3 anyway or SR1-420 I also have. The fans are run at 600rpm resulting in gpu temps in the low 40's once the coolant has reached equilibrium.

Cheers guys, really was an enjoyable rebuild. I forgot to add a few pictures so added them to some of the earlier posts to keep continuity.
