Sapphire 290 Tri-X Vibration issues ?

Anyone having vibration issues with their Sapphire 290 Tri-X when setting the fans between 40 and 50% ?

Cheers Matt, If I do that and it for some reason doesn't fix the issue would it void any warranty ?

If you do it carefully then you should be able to just undo it & they'll not be able to tell so warranty should be ok

Most likely. Check with OcuK. For what its worth i tweeted the main man at Sapphire about this and directed him to this thread. Can't promise anything will come of it mind you.

So I think it's time to go back to Nvidia , Or maybe another 290 and if not that then an MSI being as they have the twin frozr cooler

well just had mine delivered and nothing yet on the cards, they sound very quiet will keep benchmarking and see what happens

I only noticed the vibration noise when I put the fan speed to 40%, and it's actually louder now than it was before

I have a Sapphire Tri-X 290 OC and have looked for the rattle issue by using Afterburner to set the fan speed through the spectrum of speeds and mine is super quiet.

Fingers crossed it stays that way!

Also when I try to play BF4 on 1920 x 1080 all I get is flickering ..the game wont settle , so I keep it at 1440 x 900
Plus its now sitting idle at 42c...as opposed to when I first got it , it was sitting at 39c

hmm sounds like your card may have a faulty cooler. Have you checked that all the fans are working?

Maybe just effects some cards then.
