Ok so I dropped my M.2 motherboard standoff and screw recently and it went under the floorboards! Without it I cannot use my M.2 SSD and ASUS do not provide a spare set with the motherboard....

Argh.

This is an image of the piece in question (while mounted properly) - this is someone's else's pic who has the same issue but never got a resolution.

I mailed ASUS directly to inquire if I could get a spare from them and their customer support was woeful. They told me to ask the retailer! Absolutely terrible.

Anyone know what I can do apart from buying the cheapest ASUS board out there with M.2 support and taking the screw from that?

Thanks...

They look like standard sized mobo stand off screws. You must have some of them floating around

Actually they are not - in fact they are much smaller / not standard at all :-(

See pic below for comparison with a standard size standoff.
Again not my pic but its useful to illustrate the point.

this is crap. ive trawled the internet and nobody sells them. really crap that Asus didn't send you one. I would phone them again and keep phoning them until they send one. you could try and RMA the board and say it didn't come with one.. shoulndt there be an ASUS rep on here?
