The gap between these and the RX480 seems very small in both price and performance, seems like a strange decision on AMDs part to have different versions of each. Effectively 4 cards with very little between them. Don't really see why they have a 4gb RX480 and the 8gb RX470. Still looks like the 4gb RX470 is a very strong budget card.

I wonder if the 4gb can be flashed to 8gb like the 480?

They're mostly priced much too close to 4GB 480s. Just £11 difference for 46MHz boost increase and 256 more shaders if you compare the Nitro+ OC 470 and Nitro+ 4GB 480. Unless you're in a hurry (470 is in stock) I can't see why anyone would get the 470.

The £165 card is the only tempting one.

What do you mean by ITX cases? Because there are plenty of ITX cases that fit even Titans.
