Just looking to put my ek vector2 on my strix oc 4090 soon and wanted to know as im using the card vertical mount i want to protect the core from liquid metal dripping
you know how the ps5 has liquid metal and it has that sponge thing that goes directly around the core.....
can you purchase something like that for the 4090 core, would be easier protection i think compared to using tape or nail varnish or is it even worth liquid metaling the 4090 and just using normal paste.....

.
You could get some conformal coating and treat the components that would be lower than the core when the card is mounted. So even if there is some leakage the smd parts would be protected.
