6700k Bundle or Kaby Lake Next year

Hi Guys,

I am facing a dilemma right now, i have Black Friday bundle in my basket waiting for the release at 10am with 6700k. SHould i go for the current gen or wait until January for new Kaby Lake and new motherboard?Would there be a significant difference in performance? My current i7 is very old I think it one of the first i7 gen.

Yeah i was so busy i dint notice that my pc got old and I could not play any current game any more. Hopefully I will manage to get the bundle.

Be mad to buy a dull as dishwater quad and then AMD release an 8/16 thread at similar IPC and cost to the Intel 4/8.

This is my worry as well. We have been stuck with 4 cores 8 threads for years.
Anyway got myself bundle, happy times.

It's too late bundle ordered already, could not resist the urge of new PC.
