Acceptable min fan curve/temps for Ryzen with H100i

Running a new Corsair H100i v2 on a Ryzen 1600X (stock speed, not overclocked currently) on Killer X370 board. I know the fans included with the H100i are known to be poor but I wasn’t expecting them to be THAT bad :( Replacement is the obvious fix but in the meantime I wanted to check acceptable fan curves / temperatures with you learned lot.

I’ve lowered the fan curve further than Corsair's 'Quiet' setting such that fan speeds stay at lowest setting for longer (i.e. 25% or around 900 rpm using corsair link software) until temp reaches 37C. This allows me web-browsing and other light use in relative quiet as temps don’t seem to rise beyond 35-36 with this use. Beyond 1000 rpm the fans get very noticeable and hard to tolerate when working.

Is it ok to run the CPU this ‘warm’ by default over an extended time? It’s hardly hot but is a bit higher than standard idle temps I guess. Beyond 37 degrees the fans ramp up normally so gaming and other load is kept in check.

Anyone else running similar fan curves?
cheers

I had the kit from OCUK with corsair SP RGB fans, let mobo handle them, Aorus runs them on silent profile, idle 500rpm with stock 1600 hitting 30c idle and 65c when benching games

Thanks but I was wondering more about what an acceptable idle temp is as I'm running hotter than usual by deliberately manipulating the fan curve beyond default quiet thresholds.

again hard without knowing after temps to be 100% safe but most will test when CPU is at max and not idle .

I wouldnt mind letting my 1600/7600k idle at 50c but then gaming hits 60c under water etc

as long as your not running 75c idle or load then your safe and avoids throttling :D
