I can’t see the pleasure in eating fish such as carp and pike, they are just way too bony to be enjoyable, and carp taste like fishy mud as they spend their lives rooting around in the muddy lake/river bed for food.

I've eaten fresh water fish and carp in the UK and they were delicious didn't taste of mud (much as they go on about UK mullet tasting of ****) and done right is a real treat.
