anyone used "Chips Away" ?

I've some very minor damage/scuff on my rear bumper
Chips away in High Wycombe have quoted me £135inc VAT to repair and re-spray most of the bumper to blend it all in

does that sounds reasonable ? anyone used them before?

Maybe I am old school but if its more than a little filler, paint and clearcoat then sections should be separated so paint can go around the edges and metal/plastic damage gets replaced.

I haven't a clue in this sort of thing, but the end result on that one you mentioned looks finished ok or can you see something I cant?

I've just looked up chips away in Abingdon on facebook
and the pictures , looks like they do a good job compared to that other company in Coventry

I would prefer to get a new bumper (same colour , but it probably wouldn't match I guess?)
but as said, its the cost, mine is very small part, but they have to re spray nearly all of it to "blend it in"

popped into the body shop today, and they wanted £250 + VAT
they said as its in the middle of the bumper, they cant do a smart repair, so they would have to take the bumper off, and sand it down etc, re prime it and re paint it all
