Ballistix 1T 2T question.

Hi

hope someone can help me with this - currently have my 2 x 1GB PC4000 Ballistix running at 280x10 1:1 (3 3 3 8) at 2.7 with an Opteron 146. My BIOS version for my MSI NEO2 is 1.8 which unfortunately has no 1T/2T option.

However, if I attempt to change the 2T option to 1T in A64 Tweaker I get an instant reboot with the memory returning to 2T.

My questions are

a) whether i'm asking too much to be running at 1T at 280 (although have seen others listing it)?

b) Is there a way I can make it run at 1T?

c) what is the highest fsb can run at 1T?

I am running mine at 1T at 265mhz on 2.7v if i try any higher my pc becomes unstable, try lowering the speeed or losening the timings, stock timings are 3-4-4-8 according to crucials webby.

I'm running mine at 275x11 1:1 1T at either 2.7 or 2.8v (can't remember off hand & can't check as I'm at work) with no problems, 24 hour Prime Stable.

I think that's at 3-4-4-8.

Not sure how you would ensure running at 1T on that mobo.

People have had success running upto 300HTT 1:1 with these sticks.

If anyone with a MSI NEO2, an Opteron cpu and a pair of Ballistix is about please help.
