Hi kids,

I'm getting a new mattress as my current one is getting a bit old now and I'm wondering what's the best way to dispose of it.

I've checked my local authority and they'll do it for £40 which is a ridiculous amount for one thing! I would take it to the dump myself but I doubt it'll fir in my car!

Has anyone used another company to get rid of theirs?

Thanks,

Cas.

are you having your new one delivered?
as I aways thought that if you are replacing like for like the company your buying from have a duty to dispose of it for you

thats what i thought i am sure i will be proven wrong

I did ask them and they said no :(

I'll take a look at Freecycle.

I personally wouldn't use the bed/mattress, but someone else might!
