You could run postgres and Oracle via docker. I have both for different projects.

Played around with it a little bit and it looks nice. Installs from homebrew.

Datagrip for Postgres / general database work
Openlens for anything k8s related
Docker desktop
and like everyone else it seems VScode with half a million extensions.

I found a couple of tools that look interesting but I haven't tried them yet.

Edit: Combining that with tmux and neovim should be pretty good.

fzf is super popular, same with ripgrep.

Not sure if people will know but does the llvm package in Homebrew come with WASM support? I'd rather not install it if it doesn't.

You'll probably want WABT too, or some other wasm-tools packages.
