Erm, my indicators don't work on the passengers side.

Hi guys, whilst driving home last night all of my indicators on the left hand side of my car decided to stop working all together, cue lots of flashing from other drivers!

So what causes this, anything i can do to fix it or is it a garage job.

Car is a 98 plate fiesta si mk4.

Do both left and right indicators have separate fuses then, bear with me i am a complete noob when it comes to cars!

nope they didn't come on when i put the hazards on either, however i have just gone out and changed the fuse and they seem to be working now?!?

Right then, an update.....

It's stopped working again, so doesn't look like it was the fuse, think it was just a coincidence, so what's the next step. There is only the one fuse to replace for both indicators.

doesn't appear to have done, plus the fact that the fuse controls both indicators and the right ones are still working
