HP Z Turbo Drive G2 in standard PC

i removed a HP Z Turbo Drive G2 from a workstation, will it work as a boot drive in a X99 SOC Champion Intel X99.

I dont know the capacity doesnt seem to say from the outside. I can see an M.2 there. worst case could i just remove it from the adaptor, seems a shame as its got a nice heatsink

doesn't work, tried in 2 pcs, not seen in bios or windows, going to try an remove it from card
