I usually recommend MSI's B760 Gaming Plus, but only the MATX version (B760M) supports 14th gen "out of the box", so the alternative is Gigabyte's B760 Gaming X (DDR5 version) or B760 DS3H (DDR5 version) which both have flashback.

I don't know of any DDR5 boards I'd put a 14600K on that are cheaper than that, though if you're only gaming it doesn't matter that much.

Alternatively, if you can find a Z690 board with flashback (MSI's UNIFY has been on offer lately) or a lower-end Z790 board with flashback (e.g. Z790 UD AX).

A lot of data processing in Linux with SDR’s (usb radios).
If this is very CPU heavy then I'd recommend a better board than the low-end ones, as the VRM will get pretty hot, even with the 14600K.

All of the ones I mentioned should be fine, but I wouldn't buy anything cheaper than that, especially if it doesn't even have a heatsink. A better one like a higher-end or entry Z690 or Z790 board might be well worth the investment for cooler running, if you're going to hammer the CPU 24/7.
