Hi guys my main gaming setup is going through my lg 48inch oled tv (couch gaming) but I also have a desk with a decent monitor,
So my question is I have my tv connected to the 2.1 hdmi gpu input (4k/120hz) and going to connect the monitor via dp (1440p/165hz) so obviously I set my tv as main and monitor as 2rd, but apart from turning one off when I want to use the other, how would I switch to the correct display if both are on at the same time ? If I was watching tv through the tv and gaming on monitor, plus how does windows knows what resolution etc and nvidia control panel use the correct settings.

Or possibly an app to download to keep 2 profiles ?

Windows key + p

Will bring up options of pc monitor only, clone displays, extend or tv only. So you can select which display to use at any given time. Once you have selected it windows will remember the settings for resolution and desktop icon placement etc. I believe even sound output is saved depending on which display is being used.
