got my hub one on wed ready for my switch on tomoz

it is exactly the same as bt's home hub except from the front as u can see

So no engineer to upgrade people with old master sockets to the MK3 faceplate and NTE5A, I wonder what speed difference there is between a MK3 and the supplied Micro filter?
 
What a bland looking thing. And being made by Sagem would suggest it's not the same as a Home Hub - the 5Bs are made by Arcadyan.

But faceplater filter is more tidy :p.

Searching around seems to be the same as the HH5A model - which possibly means issues with G.INP enabled cabinets.

On the other hand, it should offer better wifi at least, I always found Plusnet routers to have basic wifi.
 
Yeah I just can't see why PlusNet would want to offer a product that has known issues with certain FTTC deployments. I assume they paid a lot less for these than a 5B spec unit would cost.
 
Funny that a company would give out a router that looks exactly like a re-branded version of what it's parent company gives out.

I think I prefer it in white though.
 
Plusnet user here, just use the openreach modem and your own router? Its certainly better than the old router but still not a patch on the asus routers imo.
