Replacement for B450 tomahawk max?

I've currently got a 3700x in a B450 tomahawk max motherboard along with a 2070 super. I want to upgrade the graphics card to a 4070 super for better VR performance.

The old b450 doesnt support PCIe 4.0 so im looking at changing the motherboard, keeping the CPU and upgrading to a 4070 super.

Can anyone recommend a replacement motherboard?

You don't need to change the motherboard, the performance loss @ PCI-E 3.0 should be very, very small on a card with 16 lanes.

If you had extra money to put down on a new motherboard, consider switching to a 5700X3D instead while keeping your B450.

You'll see a drastic increase with minimum frames in some games as well as overall better performance.
