Cracking game. Overally pretty happy with England's performance despite the loss and a few soft tries given away. Seeing them look an actual threat in attack was worth it after the last few years. With the Ireland game and then this result, England look like they are on an upward trajectory with some good future prospects judging from how the under 20s did.

I went to bed feeling some small sympathy for Wales.

I'm a tad confused about why the press are so gushing about England's defeat to France and talking like they are back to being World beaters. They lost! They had a lead and faile to close out the game with poor tactical decisions. Englands performance in the last couple of games of the competiton was improved but as a team they have a heck of a long way to go to be a consistent match to SA, Ireland and NZ.

I'm calling it now though, Italy will finally get their first win against England next 6N, the only team they haven't beaten in the competition.
