SteelSeries Arctis Pro headphones

Hey guys,

Yesterday I took delivery on a cracking deal for some Arctis Pros, and it came with a (im sure its a DAC? someone correct me if wrong), and it has a slot on the side to charge the second battery while you use the other..my question is..

can i leave the unit on charging the battery..say..overnight? It wont damage the battery or anything like that will it??

It shouldn't do, because the internals on the Game DAC should prevent overcharging. Although I believe it's better not to leave things plugged in all the time (I still read debate about this online).

However it's probably just as likely something else on the headset breaks around the same time or before the batteries fully wear out. Or you'll want something newer with different features. For example, if the batteries last 3-5 years then that's probably a good lifetime for the product.

na.. in all seriousness, I love this headset, it’s a great all rounder.

The battery will be fine. The earcups on the other hand will break in ~12 months and Steelseries will fob you off, even though it's a well known design fault
