VPN setup on router?

Have followed the instructions here (https://www.vpnunlimitedapp.com/en/info/manuals/dd-wrt-openvpn-configuration-guide )
to the letter on a netgear wnr 3500l v2 router flashed with DD-wrt
Have connected it to a SKY sr102 adsl router
but it does not seem to change my home ip at all
I have triple checked the settings and keys and all appear fine.Am connecting through the netgear
Any ideas or suggestions on what i am doing wrong?
or another link to a better guide?(although that one seems pretty idiotproof

When i use the app for windows it does change my ip however so i think it must be a setup error on my end

Think I got it sorted,at least partway

Getting a different ip address as it should
Ended up resetting router back to defaults 30-30-30 then reinstalling the info
Just need/want to change the ip range from 1 to 0 (would this conflict with sr102 though?) :confused:

Have had it up and running for a few days now
All seems ok,well atm
