Hi ppl I've give my wee nephew my old pc I had a 1300 watt powering it . Now he has it he has 3 hard drives 1 DVD rom 6 gig of ram GeForce 550 the overclock is 4.20.
What psu would power this system .

He was using a 750 and the pic just shutdown not enough power I was think a 850 might do .
Asus rampage 3 extreme. 6 gig corsair 3 hard drives 1 of which is a ssd a DVD rom he bought a refurb 1000 watt sea sonic stupid I no GeForce 550 that's it as I've said it was my old build .
About 2 years old I think I tested it again just to rule out the refurbished psu he bought and it worked ok so his refurb psu is crap lol. Cos it wouldn't power on lights on try mobo came on but when you tried to power it on. It wouldn't work.
