you dont have to upgrade the cpu, theres pcie/s754 boards around now.

i'm in the same kind of position mate but have a x800 pro and same chip, but in a shuttle,
i think we ppossibly should wait till new gfx cards come out and the old ones will go down in price, depends how much money you have, but i think i might wait till duel chips come down abit?
also the shuttles to house the chips.
was considering an upgrade to sugo sff pc with 3800+ x 2 chip, but think i'll wait.
