Hey guys.

I'm a huge noob when it comes to SLi. :p

So here are my questions:

- Which card would i plug my monitor into? Does it matter?
- When they SLi, do they go together to act as one graphics card, much like Raid 0 with HDD's for example.
- If not, how do they work together?
- Do they only work on nForce 680i chipset mobo's?

Thanks in advance :)

Let me try to answer some of those...

1 - AFAIK it is plugged into the Master (Nearest the CPU) Socket.
2 - Yes they operate as one, connected with a little 'bridge' between the 2.
3 - As above.
4 - No, they work on any board that supports SLi.

Just too add tnat you need two cards of the same type - 2x 7800GT for expample, although they dont need to be the manufacturer :)

Yup only use of SLI is for the benchers that can afford 2 top range cards.

Or for people who have 30" monitors, there is a vid of this guy on youtube, think he's got a quad core and 2x 8800GTX, and Oblivion on the natice res of this 30" monitor, think it was an apple monitor, the fps went down to 30fps.
