Randomly exciting thing for me that maybe half a dozen people will 'get'

If they are who I am thinking of, they don't have a good reputation at all...

Besides, nobody who does amputations advertises them.

I didn't flinch when I had a scalpel taken to my bits...I doubt I'd cry from some MDs...

this was about 2 years ago when i last went past that place, i live over the other end of town now so have no idea...im sure they used too though, have no idea of their reputation tbh ive not used them, some of the work they have on their myspace page does look good though

Nope - just got a few beads implanted down there.

*n (nothing taken, plenty added)

Still owch, think I'd of jammed the scalpel in the guy before i let him near the little major.

*entering disturbing territory* What does it feel like having a bunch of beads in your todger?

The thought of intentionally cutting, piercing, scarring or injecting with ink any part of my person makes me cringe but I'm not about to tell you that it's wrong, that you're nuts or that it's the same as self harm. You're a responsible adult and it's your choice, but I don't think you need us to tell you that :).

Looking forward to seeing the pictures although mainly to satisfy my morbid curiosity ;).

Fanflippingtastic.

As does having big rings through the end.

What if they get caught in somthing :(

Also if your lady friend was pierced down there, could there be some sort of horrible "linking acident"?

Interesting. I have seen this type of thing (scarification) before (not that it appeals to me). Why are you visiting (this is directed at the original poster)?

Angus Higgins

You are doing this on purpose now! The bit in the last bracket is completely unnecessary. Boo!!!

Penski, comparing Samppa's work to shaving or getting a haircut is completely ridiculous.
I'm not even against this kind of stuff, but that comparison is really scraping the barrel!
People shave and cut their hair for hygiene reasons, as well as the fact that long hair can get in the way. You can do better than that.

Both change your appearance. As I noted earlier, it is merely a matter of scale.

Not really, as one is useful, and necessary for hygiene reasons, the other doesn't physically aid anything...

I'm really not into this sort of scene, but each to their own I guess.

But, what about when you 70 years old? I know its a bit silly to think that far into the future but being an old man with scar tattoos and numerous metal additions to the body may look a little odd. :D

Shaving, cutting your hair and styling your hair is certainly not necessary for hygiene reasons.

One can have perfectly clean and hygienic hair that is long and sport a perfectly clean and hygienic beard.

I refute your point that my modifications don't physically aid anything. They most certainly do.

Old men look odd anyway.

I'll just be a colourful, bumpy old man instead of a beige, dull old man.

Tbh its going to be interesting to see how people look with such modifications when their old. (It may be even better :D )

This thread is hilarious.. my particular favourite is the likening of tattoos/scarification to cutting your hair. :p :D

How long does it take for your skin to grow back over the tattoo/scar then Penski?

Hair can't tell its been cut and it doesn't grow back thicker of with any different properties other than the fact that you have lopped off the tapered end leaving a flat surface. The follicles remain exactly the same and in time the hair will taper again.

Then why do some of my follicles grow in a strange direction and have done since I had dreadlocks about eight years ago?

Hairstyles can't change follicles, eh...?
