Airborne release tommorow!

Well I have just got home and checked the website I have ordered my copy from (a well known one that tends to get the game to you a day before official release) and it says that it has been dispatched today. Happy days!

Should be here by Thursday. :D

I thought the demo was pretty good, alough this healing system? it's like cod 2. Never really been a fan of that. The game itself is good though, good graphics and you actually have to aim. Better than EA's other mistakes, alough MOH 1 was a great game.
 
I believe the healing system is slightly different in that your health is broken down into 4 quaters. You will only ever regenerate up to one whole quater at a time.

So while you regenerate health, it does diminish and you will never regenerate full health once you have lost your 4th quater. works well imo.

I want this game, but im holding back until ive completed Bioshock... ive only just got onto the Smugglers Warf (?) bit lol.

Damn this game is awesome though! demo was mint
 
Mine was dispatched yesterday at 11pm :p so I'm too hoping I will get it Thursday.

Though with new games I always play MP first.

Unsuprisingly gamespot gave it the lowest score yet, 7.0. Anyone else notice the growing trend with that site about constantly dishing out the lowest score of all the big review sites? Its almost like they wait till ign has their review out then constantly score a game lower.

Then again this is the same website that said in the demo the 2 riflemen in the tower reminded them of snipertown in alied assault they were so accurate etc..funny that no one else seemed to think that or have any problems taking them out.

Reviews also short as hell, clearly tons of effort put into it. :rolleyes:

the aiming is not awefull, maybe you are, and cod2 is at all the major lan events, and is 2nd or 3rd in xfire's most played games, behind WoW, not sure if it is in front of behind css. cod2 has as big a following, if not bigger than cod1, and cod4 will be even bigger still. and how can you say as soon as cod4's out it will be dropped like a disease, your clueless.

and oh look what i see here from the gamespot review about moha, "Weapons can be tough to aim thanks to recoil and poor hit detection" that is where cod simply owns moha.
