I was wondering if anyone else has played this? Its a pretty old game which I have only just discovered.

I cant stop playing, its a dungeon keeper style game but set with you taking the role of an evil genius set on world domination. Lots and lots of fun with excellant sense of humour!

If you havnt played this its an absolute gem!

It is a nice little game, can get highly annoying at times, especially when starting off on the second island, not as good as dungeon keeper in my opinion though.

Make sure you download the bonus disc from somewhere though, get some extras, Col. Blackheart is fun, special move being to through a monkey with some dynamite at the enemy, shouting "Unleash the monkies!".
 
I played it, and loved it, but it got too frustrating at one point where you had to do random jobs to get information from people you interrogated, iirc. I found the base layout to be hard at points, where I had gained so much cash I had to start deleting other rooms to store it! :p
I might see if I can find my save game again, thinking about it~ :D
 
I played this a lot ages ago, was a good game. I was a bit crap and didn't know what I was doing lol. I'll give it another go now :p
 
I thought that it was a truly EXCELLENT game to play and many of its little quirks and issues can be resolved via this superb forum here....

a pity that the company which made the game went out of business and there has been no takers for a second version or further patches. :(
 
I loved the concept, however the second island owned my face. I just couldn't deal with building a base from scratch while that james bond-alike tore it to pieces from the inside out. Did any patches make it easier? I've always sucked at RTS' (ironically i was really good at dungeon siege and this game is pretty much identical?)
 
If you check out the link that I posted above you will find lots of things / files there to add to the game that makes it a better playing experience.

Little tip mate. People on forums are lazy. Very, very, very lazy. If you post a youtube clip thats longer than 2 minutes the vast majority of people wont bother to watch it the whole way through. If you post a link to a forum and suggest they 'go read' they wont even bother to click the link.

Its a lot better to link directly to relevant items, file downloads etc otherwise nobody but nobody is actually going to bother to seek them out.

On topic, loved the game, played it a lot. I dont think i completed it though because i had a crash to desktop bug. Im tempted to loaded it up and revisit it.
 
i remember trying the demo, wanted to buy it but it i was still in school and cashless, i will go into town tommorow see if i can find it preowned, the demo was kickass.

Yup, of course you are right. Sometimes in my naivety I forget these things :D
 
Didnt like the demo, was too much bothersome to play and learn. They overcomplicated the game imo. Would have been better if it was a simpler method.
