It's that time of year again, when the big spiders come out to play. This year is different though, as there's lots of them. Mostly catagory 3 spiders as well :( the type that sit in the bath reading a newspaper.
I am literally finding at least one every day since August, mostly downstairs. There was one on the towel in the bathroom, but luckily I was sat on the toilet when I found it just inches from my face. Why are there so many this year? Could there be a nest of them in the floors somewhere?

Iave been getting these smallish beatle type things running around the carpet when they think iam not looking, i think last years didnt tidy up or ne thing u see. so now its pritty nasty :/ - cant see where they are coming from either.

I lol at only 1 spider a day! Our house has 1 per room at least and in many different sizes. The other day I was about to take a leak and as I turned on the light this huge ****** ran into the middle of the floor, freaked the **** out of me. Argos killed him eventually(well me lobbing it at him)

I've caught one doing the rounds in my Dad's living room this evening. First big one I've seen inside recently whereas he says he's had to remove a couple in the last week.

I'm sleeping on a camp bed in his living room tonight. I feel a bit uneasy for some reason :o

gayers they wont harm you and if you move them they will come back to the point where you moved them and just sit there liek

I bet the one I moved won't.

I always make sure I take them a fair distance from the house and plant them in someone else's front garden :p

yeah move them out the house then you are fine, i just use to move them to another room them find them back in my room, im sure they just wanted to play.

Whatever you do, do not move them out of the house! If you do, they get really peed off and tell their mates to lay eggs in your ears when you're asleep!

just pick them up and put them out side, they wont hurt, if you dont want to pick them up use glass/paper trick, but dont stamp on them as they kill nasty flies.

No way! if I see a big one it has to die. In fact they all do! :D
Also do not leave the room if you spot one, as they run and hide when your not looking

Got a little one cruising around my room for the last week

It popped down while i was watching a film

hmmm
