Curious what most people get in this and what their setups are?

I got 237.22 with the specs in my sig (except the 7900GT was at 675/910)...is that reasonable?

Oh and this is at 1440x900 everything on maximum

That's an amazing score you have their for a 7900GT, are you sure you have everything on the max though? do you have AA enabled? With my HD2900XT i score 166 fps, that's with 16xAF and 8xMASAA @ 1680X1050.

What a lot of people don't know is that the Source engine does not need a good graphics card at all. It is CPU based, say if I used two test machines with 7600GT's at stock clocks and then used a E6300 CPU

PC1 E6300 Stock, 7600 Stock = 60FPS With 4AA
PC2 E6300 3Ghz, 7600 Stock - 100 FPS constant with 6AA

So really the better your CPU the better FPS. I really do like seeing some people get 8800GTX's in SLI for better FPS in source lol.

I get somewhere around 166 too, with everything on at 1280x1024 using an E6600 and 320mb 8800GTS on stock. If you did managed to get 237FPS with EVERYTHING on, that's bloody impressive.

I get 250fps with everything on max. I think this is the limit for the game as even when running on low quality I still get 250fps.

Running at 1440x900 with spec in sig.

css is a top game and totaly agreed with the cpu thang.

my spec is

Abit IP35 P35 mobo - Core 2 Quad @ 3Ghz - 2gb of corsair xms2 6400c4 @ 1066Mhz - 8800GTS 640mb edition, 600W OCZ StealthXstream PSU

Im getting 230 Average on stress test with everything maxed out @ 1920x1200 resolution.

Please note - these intel chips coupled with good mobo and nvidia chips are unbelievable :D they outperform ati's offering now.

8800 Is at stock for the time being, cos i dont need anything more :| lol.

I get 213fps with the specs in sig. The 8800 is slightly OC'ed and its running at 1280x1024 with everything on max, 8xAA and 16xAF. Just shows that it is more cpu dependant since my E4300 is only at 2.8Ghz

Get about 235FPS with system in sig, seems very logical if it's so CPU based, anyway i'm not complaining at all :)
That's with every single setting on max by the way :)
